Before you book a Puglia villa: six details worth checking
Know the full stay price, sleeping arrangements, payment steps and cancellation terms before you reserve. A short checklist for a confident booking.

A terrace photograph helps you choose where you want to be. A clear written quote helps you book with confidence. Before reserving a holiday home in Puglia, bring these six details together in one place.
1. The same stay in every quote
Compare identical arrival and departure dates, guest numbers and the same accommodation. Two apartments at one property are not interchangeable. At Villa Pugliese, Il Glicine and Il Rosmarino are separate spaces. Read the name, photographs and sleeping arrangements on the offer.
2. The complete amount
Look beyond the nightly figure. Ask for the accommodation subtotal, cleaning, any service charge and any local tax payable separately. Confirm whether linen, parking or requested extras carry a charge. Compare the final amount for the whole stay, using the same currency and conditions.
Keep a copy of the quote. If the dates or guest count change, ask for an updated total before paying. Direct booking is not automatically cheaper than another channel. Compare the written offers.
3. The home your group needs
Check actual beds and rooms, not only maximum capacity. An upstairs terrace is appealing, but stairs matter when carrying luggage or travelling with someone with limited mobility. Villa Capitolo has spiral-staircase access. Tell Gianni about essential access or sleeping requirements before choosing a home.
4. What happens after a request
On this site, a booking request places a temporary hold on the dates. Read the expiry shown on your request and in My bookings. A hold is not a payment receipt or final confirmation. Follow the next steps agreed with Gianni before it expires.
Read the booking information for the current process. Where prices or terms are marked as examples or drafts, obtain Gianni’s approved offer before making a real booking.
5. Payment and confirmation
Ask for the deposit amount, payment deadline, balance deadline and accepted method in writing. Keep your receipt. Gianni confirms the booking after checking the agreed payment. Do not treat an initial request email as proof of payment.
If payment instructions change unexpectedly, verify them using the host’s established contact details. For a bank transfer, confirm the beneficiary, reference and amount before sending. For a payment link, check it matches the agreed booking.
6. Cancellation and arrival arrangements
Read the cancellation deadlines and charges attached to your own offer. Conditions on a booking platform do not automatically apply to a direct reservation. Ask what happens if you arrive late, shorten the stay or need to cancel, and keep the response with the quote.
Finally, confirm the arrival window, key collection and exact address. Our arrival guide helps you connect the airport journey to the property door.
Choose your dates and review the stay total. If an essential detail is missing, ask Gianni before reserving. This checklist explains what to review. Your agreed booking terms set the conditions.
